Importantly, Rapid VF avoids overbuilt VR features (e.g., complex motion tracking) that aren’t necessary for visual field screening. Rapid VF aims to achieve accuracy that approaches premium VR-based perimetry systems and the gold standard HVF, but at a fraction of the cost by needing only simple materials.
